The Calm Before the Storm

Golden Hour fades as dusk sets in revealing this picture perfect picture of Ala Moana and Waikiki in all their dramatic glory from the Pacific Ocean. Hurricane Ana is supposed to hit by late afternoon tomorrow. In the meantime, I sit here, at the Gedo Studio, nursing (and celebrating!) a successful rootcanal by having a beautiful, sweet morning bun and a glass of iced coffee. I am $1000 in the hole because of my sweet tooth, but look at this picture! Life is good. Time to paint again :)
